CAS card using stencil

Hi,
Hope you are having a crafty week. Today I came with a CAS card using a stencil. I used the stencil and sponged the colors in lighter shade and then offset the stencil and sponged with darker shade. Mounted the paper on colored cardstock, then added the sentiment, few jewels and border.

Thanks for spending your precious time here. I love to hear what you have to say about my work.

Have a great day!

Bold and fun one layer card

Hi,
Hope you are doing fine. I wanted to play along couple of challenges and thought of combining few of them, so came up with this card.

I stamped the bold sentiment from SSS and replaced letters "L" and "T" with doodle to make it more fun. Finally, added the DI watercolor stripes using brush.

It was a very quick single layer card.

Thanks for visiting my space and spending time here. Please leave some love :)

Have a great day!

Watercolor Hibiscus

Hello crafty friends,
Hope you are doing good and crafting a lot :)

Lately, I have been sharing very few cards even though there are so many lovely challenges in which I wish to participate. Somehow I am managing to miss the timelines ! There are couple of challenges for which I wanted to make a card, so I made sure I sit through making the card and share it asap.

Here it goes

There are many accidents with this card! First of all, I did not have this result in mind when I started. Even the flower color is not the one I had intended to do. I had started with a lighter shade and wanted to give a little messy look with the loose watercolor at the background, but in my over enthusiasm in adding layers of watercolor and contrast to flower I ended up with darker shade of flower with very definite shape. Nevertheless it is not something that I totally disliked, so went ahead and completed it. Added the leaves using freehand and some detail to flower using white gel pen.

The flower is from Mudra hibiscus and sentiment from Inspired By Stamping. I have used DI to watercolor.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I would love to hear your kind feedback. Have a great day ahead!

Thanks
