Cardboard Gift Box

Hey friends it's been ages I did not have any post. Kind of unplanned break ! Initially it was due to health issues in family and later with all the festivities around did not get any chance to write a post. I was working on few crafts though but did not post them, so I have a long list craft to be shared. You will quite a few posts in coming days.

Well starting with the latest I have created.

This was fun creating as I was trying to teach my son how to create a box from cardboard. Thought will create just the box and leave it but actually went on to give it finishing!

I had 1 piece of rectangular cardboard from some clothing we recently got. I followed a tutorial (here) to create the box which is super easy. Once done, used PP to cover it. Used distress ink over the edges and some glitter on the surface. Added few pearls and created flower using few elements.
For the inside, colored it brown.

Inside look.

I don't know what to call the petals which is used to create the flower. I had bought if long back but never used it. It reflects different colors red/pink, orange, golden with different light intensity. One of the snap to show how the color changes.

Would love to share for Lessology - Let's get organized challenge (I have recycled the dress cardboard here)

  1. Glad to see you back. I hope your family are all well now and that you enjoyed your festival.
Lovely recycled box. The paper you've used to cover it goes beautifully with the brown inside and the lovely embellishments especially the flower, so pretty. Debra x
