Doodle

This one I started with no specific deign in mind. I was having this thermacol container since a long time. This was with some packaging which I do not remember now.
Painted the container with acrylic colors, did not use too many layers of coating. I used the brush pen to make the designs on the surface. I specifically did not want to use embellishments apart from making with my own hand.
The flowers are make of the pistachio  shells. Just colored them adhered it on the surface.

Hope you like it.....

Be Mine :)

I have got some new stamps and was pondering over how to use them. Wanted to make use of most of them but ended up using just one !

I have got some card stock from a local store. The set consists of some very lovely colors. I have used 2 colors in  my card. The image is stamped, embossed and fuzzy cut. The fun part is how I joined it with the twine :) You see those two pearls dangling........ that is my earring. Yes!  I have looped the earring hook in the twine and then on top of it put that heart. This panel then I put on the card using double sided tape.

I did not feel like adding any other sentiment on the card. Let me know if you think otherwise.

Since the earring hook is looped around twine I can move the heart along it.

Easel Card

This is the first time I am putting an easel card together. I have done some recycling in the process of making it as well.

I started off with using distress ink(Tim Holtz) on the doily. At the center used the chrysanthemum stencil for embossing. I was planning for  a glittery paste but somehow did not the get the color and texture I was aiming for so to improvise bordered the design with glitter paste. Added few pearls.

I was in a fix what to use for the base. Searched around for patterned papers- nothing matched it, even thought of coloring paper and using it- but was not sure which colors would look good. Finally I got this paper from an old invitation card.  It simply blended so well wiht the card colors I used. So I cut it into shape bordered it with pearls.

Used quilled design (after ages did some quilling) to pep up the card base. Finally added the handwritten sentiment.

 Some closer look.

The colors have not come so good in the snap. It is looking much lighter than it actually is. Will keep trying to get a better snap.

CAS card

I hope everyone had a great holiday and New year. I went on a 10 day vacation and it was the most amazing time we had together as a family after many many years :)

Today's card is a CAS card. I simply cut the paper in shape, pasted it, added flowers in the same color tone and put the sentiment.
