Hello friends...hope you had a great weekend. Today I am quickly sharing 2 cards which I made few days back.
For first card created a wreath of flowers with masking, colored then using distress ink. Then to add some dimension I trimmed the panel on two sides and fussy cut the flower edges. Next layer of card is created with sponging through stencil. Finally mounted this on colored card stock.

Post is not over yet ! Here is the second card. This one is a no fuss card. I stamped the image, then masked it and sponged the distress ink on the border. Then sprinkled some water so that it gives a beautiful background after reacting with water. Finishes off with embossed sentiment on black paper.
The card was done quick but I had to struggle a lot to get the exact color on the picture. This is peacock feather color but somehow it looks more blue in photo than in real :(
Tried taking photo with different intensity of light but still was not successful.

Hello there! Your cards are gorgeous! You've done an awesome job of masking! I still struggle with masking! Hibiscus is one of my favourite flowers and the wreath looks just like hibiscus! Gorgeous! Your second card really caught my eye! The masking looks amazing! I've been seeing this trend lately with a non-coloured image and beautiful background - must.try.this! Love how it turned out!
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous cards! Gorgeous colour on both of them, from your wonderful red wreath to the lovely peacock feather background. Your use of masking for both has resulted in two stunning cards. Debra x
