Spring

Hello friends.....hope you had a great weekend. I created few cards over the weekend mostly with flowers considering blog land is talking about spring. Here is ne of them.

Using some masking I stamped flowers and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Next colored then using distress ink. Added a simple sentiment and few rhinestone. Very simple one.

This is a closer look of the flowers

Here's the card.

Pink is in the air......

A quickie post from me. This is a simple CAS card. The stems are  hand drawn and colored using brush pen.(You can see they are not even shaped:)). Made the hand made flowers from crepe paper. Just adhered them on the stalks and added black dots at the center. Finished with a simple sentiment.

Double Gate fold Birthday Card

Today I am sharing a double gate fold card. This is the first time I am sharing a card which has something other than the single layer which is mostly I am making. I hope to try all the different types in future. Here you go....

To hold the card together I have used a ribbon. So let's open it.
It opens up to a cupcake and banner above and sentiment below. That banner is made from colored paper and I have put word SURPISE on it.

Each side I have used patterned paper by Papericious. (I just love them!).
Images are stamped and colored using distress ink and brush pen.  "Let's Celebrate" and "Party Time" is handwritten with glitter pen. The sentiment under cupcake is stamped.

Did I forget anything else?? Well yes.... I have added two tags as well. You see that green washi popping out of the card. Those are two tags. They have sentiment stamped and bordered with crystal.

Closer look

I enjoyed making this one. Hope you love it as well.

*** Always a Friend ***

Hey friends......I am back with another CAS card today. Got it done quickly.

Firstly created the sun background using distress ink and some masking. Hand drew the branch. Initially I thought of using water color for the branch but settled for brush pen. I did not draw the birdies on paper directly. Those 2 cutie birds are hand drawn, colored and put in place using foam glue to add some dimension. One of them almost gave me scare, after coloring and fussy cutting it, it vanished!!! Had to search in my crafty mess but fortunately found it :)

Heat embossed the sentiment on the black paper and put it at the bottom.

Close up of the sentiment "Always a Friend".

You can do Anything

Hey friends...hope you are enjoying your weekend. Over the weekdays I managed to create a card sharing that today. I created this for few of the challenges.

Background is created using wet on wet technique. Using stamp I added some more texture at the bottom of the paper and some to the right side. Stamped the bunch of flowers. I decided against using any color for the flowers.

I cut a strip from the bottom and adhered both the pieces on the card stock at some distance with sentiment in between. Finished with some rhinestones.
