Exploding Box

Hi...welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing an explosion box, kept is very simple as it is my first attempt. I thoroughly enjoyed making it!

This is how it looks from outside, kept it subdued and not too much focus so that when it explodes it is a pleasant surprise. Lid is covered with PP from Papericious. For the box added small golden flower at all four ends.

Now how it explodes

Flap-1: Stamp from "Big Birthday Wishes" from Simon Says Stamp using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Kept this simple by adding just 2 red stones, as the sentiment is the focus

Flap 2: Again the sentiment and candles from "Big Birthday Wishes" from Simon Says Stamp. I stamped the candles in different distress ink from Tim Holtz Kit 1and 2. Sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink then adhered it using foam stick.

Flap 3: Balloons from....you can guess.............. again Big Birthday Wishes stamp set. Stamped those in different distress ink from Tim Holtz Kit 1and 2, fuzzy cut them and then using foam sticker put it there. Used a glitter pen to draw those strings.

Flap 4: I was not able to decide what should go here, then went on to create "Happy Birthday" banner using colored paper and writing on it using glitter pen. Added a rose sticker.

Center: It's bunch of felt roses with tiny buds to go with it.
